Swimming Negril’s coral reefs

Coral reef, Negril Jamaica

Some of Negril’s best snorkeling is only a five-minute, calm-water boat ride off of Seven Mile beach.  Negril isn’t the Great Barrier Reef, but you can’t beat the convenience and the price ($25 for an hour’s worth of snorkeling). Most snorkeling vendors operate glass bottom boats, which can entertain if you ever get tired of the striking ocean and beach panoramas. I took the ocean-based photos featured below using the default wide-angle setting of a GoPro Hero 3+. The rest are the requisite sunset shots.
